INITIAL COSTS

A fully operational Node is your key to future business growth and excellent profitability!

To establish and maintain a fully operational Node, Network Members will need to fulfill some local requirements, join the VNFax Network and purchase some Hardware for their use.

Local Requirements For the Node Operator (The Basic requirements to Start)

  1. Licensing

    2. You must obtain the appropriate in-country license for Node operation, a fax store-and-forward data enterprise, if necessary. This ‘value added license’ is usually issued by the local jurisdiction governing telecommunications. There is no international guideline for this license. Being licensed as an ISP can be helpful. Each country determines whether or not a license is required.
  2. Analog Lines

    3. Operation of your Node requires that a minimum of four (4) analog lines be installed by the local PSTN. Time frames for delivery, installation and monthly cost for the analog lines also vary greatly from one country to the next. Based on location, time frames for installation can be two (2) days to one (1) month, cost for analog line installation vary from country to country.
  3. Internet Connectivity

    4. Thirdly, your Node must have Internet connectivity in order to send and receive faxes. A Basic requirement along with Internet Connectivity is a Static IP address (if you want to be a Node Operator). A band width of min 64 kpbs is recommended.
  4. Power Backup

    5. A Power Backup - UPS should be taken care of by the Node Mem,ber - as the syetem is required to be up 24 * 7 * 365 for better service to your members and the network.
  5. Fax Server

    6. Fax Server with following configuration should be provided by the Node Member. However the same can also be bought by US - with all the softwares pre loaded.

    • Pentium II Intel Processor or higher
    • 20GB Hard Drive or higher
    • 128 MB RAM
    • Windows NT 4.0 Server
    • Networking Card 10/100 Ethernet
    • CD ROM Drive
    • ISA Slots - depends on the number of ports you want to set up. 1 ISA slot supports 1 Gamma Card of 4 channels.
    • Internal Tape Back-up (Optional)
    • Sybase SQL Anywhere (Optional)*
    • PC Anywhere (Optional)*
    • Microsoft Access (Optional)*

  6. Dialogic - Gammafax Card

    7. Depending on the Number of Channels a member plans to start his Network - he needs to provide Gammalink Fax Boards. The Member can procure them locally or from VNfax.
    Cards Compatible :
    • GammaFax CP4/LSI Series II Fax Cards
    • GammaFax CPi/400 Assy
    A package deal can also be taken from VNfax with pre configured Server and Cards.

  2. The Administration Module - BOSS - The Billing Solution

    3. The Administration Module provides Network Members a complete business administration system at their fingertips. The system supplies the ability to manage and maintain customer records, customer billing rate plans, sales commissions and complete management reporting. We developed the following specifications for the Administration Module to be used by our Node Operators:
    This Billing Solution - is for High End Billing Requiremnts like Time Zone Billing, Agents and Sub Agents Commissions and Reporting etc.
